What do you encounter when traveling in Ethiopia and do you need it?

In Ethiopia, the issue of children's attitudes towards travelers was recently raised and the fact that children need to be educated. True! But first you have to start with adults, with guides, with those involved in tourism and those not involved.
When traveling through Ethiopia, it seems - what nice people, warm, helpful, etc. Only nice memories. However, it doesn't even take long when you start receiving messages - I'm studying, but I have no money, I have nothing to eat and pay the rent, next time bring me clothes, a computer, a phone ..., there will be a war soon - help me get out of Ethiopia ... and similar requests. I understand - it's difficult. But where isn't it difficult?!
Most travelers work for 1 or 2 years, save money to save up for their dream trip. And then - they go to Ethiopia and everyone there thinks - look, an ATM has arrived with pockets full of money and he must also have his house full of money! Seriously?! Where did such a perception come from? From ignorance or unwillingness to understand? What is happening to you there?
We - white travelers, are the same people as you. We only want to travel and feel like People. But we do not carry a bag of money with us, we do not have servants at home and our houses are not built of pure gold. We are ordinary travelers!
Instead of guides catching clients online by inviting friends on FB, sending their offers, it would be better if they created beautiful advertisements (not created by artificial intelligence) and high-quality websites with extensive information (and prices). We certainly know how to find what suits us and is interesting.
But we still have to deal with the Ethiopians' intrusiveness and strange attitude.
